The same way as a Real Estate
agent advertises property that does not own, and
receives commission for what he/she sells, an affiliate
receives commissions for what he/she advertises
and sells.
The concept is as simple as that.
But working online is much relaxed than on real
life. You don't need to get out of the house and
sell products physically. It is all done online,
and the main factors for success are three:
The product you
sell.
Where you advertise it.
Conversion rates.
The product you sell:
Sell hot products or niche products. Products that are things or services that
people are eager to buy, or products / services that are barely found but are
needed.
On goeasyonline.com we only have hot products that sell well and people of all
ages are looking for. Services such as "free music downloads for a one time fee" are
always good sellers.
Services that are applied to hot products, such as "PSP Downloads" are also
easy sellers.
Where you advertise:
This is what we will show you in this course and you have to pay a special attention
to this matter.
It makes no sense to sell bananas and advertise them on a computer store.
If you want to sell bananas, it is much better to advertise at a food market,
don't you think?
When selling bananas, the people walking around the food market would be your "target
market".
Under the same principle, you have to advertise online.
You have to find your "target market" online as well, and this
can be achieved in a variety of ways. Some are free, some are very inexpensive.
Conversion rates:
Although you may be selling a hot product or service, the website where you take
customers may not convert well.
Imagine going into a nicely displayed, clean shop with very friendly customer
service.
Now imagine walking into a shop that sells exactly the same item, but you are
received by an gentleman with no manners, dirty clothes, and the shop is set
up in a way that you don't find what you are looking for, no matter how hard
you try.
Where would you buy? Exactly, you would go back to the first shop.
A nice clean website can make a huge difference. If you send customers in, they
will buy with much more confidence than on a website that looks totally unprofessional.
Technically, conversion rates are the number of visitors from your target market
that have to visit the site you advertise before you make the first sale.
A 1/50 ratio would mean that a sale is made every 50 visitors.
